taxonomy_codestringThe NUCC Healthcare Provider Taxonomy code.
classificationstring“Level II, Classification” of the taxonomy code. Ex: "Internal Medicine”, “Dermatology”.
specializationstring“Level III, Area of Specialization” of the taxonomy code. If there’s no area of specialization, we use the classification. Ex: “Gastroenterology”, “Internal Medicine”, “Dermatopathology”.
non_standard_classificationstringFor specialties that don’t fit in the NUCC-defined taxonomy, you can use the non_standard fields and leave the other fields empty. Ex: Dermatology and Cosmetic Dermatology.
